LAMINATE HERRINGBONE Flooring
If an elegant style is what you are looking for, we have a great range of European Herringbone to choose from. Herringbone is a floor that allows you to express yourself and your creativity. You can play with colour and pattern for a truly unique floor. We find a herringbone style floor gives the area it’s going in for example a hall or a sitting room a design feature within itself.
QUALITY LAMINATE FLOORING
Laminate by definition is a multi-layer synthetic product fused together in the lamination process. Laminate flooring is trying to re-create real timber wood flooring with a photographic layer under a clear protective layer. The inner core layer is usually composed of melamine resin mounted on to backing board. On cheaper type Laminates MDF or medium density fibre board is used, however we insist on using ONLY High Density Fibre Board on all of our Laminate products.
In a market that is full of laminates, quality is very important to us at Wood Flooring Ireland. We supply a range of quality European manufactured and certified laminates. In addition, all our laminates meet the PEFC standards for sustainability. This is something we are very passionate about and will not buy any non-European manufactured products.
As we only deal with quality and European products the majority of our flooring at Wood Flooring Ireland are either AC5 or AC6 wear rating, we do however have a large range of AC 4 flooring suitable for bedrooms. The AC Rating is a general term used by manufacturers as a warranty. It ranges from AC1-6. Usually a AC4 rating gives you 25 year warranty and AC5 / AC6 gives you a 30 year to lifetime warranty.
The warranty means you will never wear through the surface board and the structure of the board is fully warrantied also.

QUALITY LAMINATE FLOORING
Laminate Flooring for a downstairs area, depends on a few factors. What areas are you flooring? Sitting Room or Hall or the whole ground floor? Is there a big space for a long or wide plank? Are you flooring the kitchen area?
We would have flooring for each areas. If you are flooring a sitting room for example a good quality 9, 10, 11 or 12mm laminate with a good quality under is more than sufficient.
If you are flooring kitchen or bathroom areas, you will need a water resistant laminate. We would ask you pop into the showroom or give us a call and we can advise you best for you and your family.
Look for a laminate floor to reflect your home and your personality. Picking a stylish floor can elevate a home to the next level. Maybe you want something traditional to enhance the coziness of the room or maybe you what to do something very rustic to reflect an older farm house or cottage.
We recommend you care for your laminate floor by using a brush or hoover. If you wish to mop- we would recommend a dry-damp mop or on water resistant floors feel free to mop and mop
