Wood Flooring Ireland Are Proud To Gain ‘Guaranteed Irish’ status

We are proud to announce our membership to the ‘Guaranteed Irish’ organisation

Guaranteed Irish is a national symbol of provenance and trust with a long history of recognising indigenous and international companies operating in Ireland. Being a part of this reputable organisation is a testament to our commitment to Irish quality, craftsmanship, skills and innovation.

Cork and Dublin Showrooms

Gaining ‘Guaranteed Irish’ membership is a rigorous and selective process, with three main criteria to be considered for each applicant: quality job creation and fair workplace conditions, a positive impact on the surrounding community, and the provenance of a product or service in Ireland that adds value.

We operate all over Ireland and have recently opened up a second showroom in Dublin to complement our manufacturing center for bespoke wooden floors in Cork. Although ‘made in Ireland’ is not requisite for Guaranteed Irish, we’re happy to state that our range of engineered wood flooring is made on Irish soil.

96 per cent of consumers say that they feel it’s important to buy from companies that have a long-term interest in Ireland. Membership with Guaranteed Irish allows us to continue providing our services whilst reassuring customers of our dedication to quality service and beautiful flooring. Whether it’s robust Long Plank flooring, Chevron flooring, Herringbone, or stylish Versailles Panels, all of our engineered wood flooring retains the same great quality that our loyal customer base has come to know and love.

Handcrafted Irish Engineered Wooden Floors

Our crafted Irish engineered wooden floors are cut to size in three grades: Rustic, Natural, and Select Grade. Rustic contains the most knots and adds rich character, Natural contains fewer knots yet retains much of the charm of a rustic grade, and Select uses the deepest part of the oak tree to provide clean, knot-free cuts. All our floors are manufactured in Cork.

What makes Wood Flooring Ireland a truly bespoke service, however, is our commitment to the customer all the way from the initial design to the installation of the finished product. The process for customers was designed to be easy and straightforward to ensure they’re getting the best flooring solution for their home, and it all starts with a visit to our showroom in Cork or Dublin.

After viewing the product, customers then select their colour and style pattern. Long planks, if selected, are cut to exact dimensions. The customer then chooses the type of finish they want and place their order. After 6-8 weeks, their high quality floors are ready for installation. The customer is involved throughout the design process to ensure they get the best flooring for their home.

Supporting Local Businesses

With international competition and the pressure from the global pandemic, many Irish small businesses simply cannot compete on an equal playing field and are struggling to survive. Supporting small businesses has perhaps never been more important and shopping from Guaranteed Irish members is a guaranteed way to support local businesses.

We hope that by bearing the ‘Guaranteed Irish’ logo with pride we can demonstrate our commitment to our customers and to our employees that we are, as Guaranteed Irish put it succinctly – #AllTogetherBetter. This commitment to the Irish economy is unwavering as our business continues to grow and expand beyond our home in Cork.

Creating Skilled Jobs in Ireland

We have always been and will continue to be committed to creating skilled jobs in Ireland. We have been delighted to be in a position to continue creating employment opportunities during the pandemic and we are actively involved in the long-term professional development of our employees. These jobs sustain Irish families, stimulate economic activity and create value in the community that goes beyond wooden floors.

The global pandemic has created unprecedented challenges in innumerable facets of daily life. The economic hardship has put enormous strain on Irish businesses, so we are grateful for the support from our community during these difficult times. Two-thirds of Irish consumers are choosing to shop with Irish small businesses during the pandemic, which helps Irish business owners, reduces environmental impact and improves local communities.

Guaranteed Irish is more than a simple small logo, but is rather a symbol of commitment to the community, to employment and to the provenance of goods.
